Every runner, no matter the race will get to visit Aid Station #1…Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce! It is fitting that this group is the first you will see since they are the gateway to events, attractions and activities in Indian Valley. IVC 3

Located just after the first mile, their theme is “Barn Quilt Painters.” They will be painting barn quilt squares on site, in between giving you water and snacks of course! All of the volunteers at the station will be IVCC members and friends..local business folks! They will also have some tasty goodies.

If you need to take a breather-especially you 10K runners on your way back to the finish line, feel free to ask them questions about the barn quilts.

“We’re excited to be involved and hope to offer something unique and maybe answer questions about the barn quilts, as I get questions all the time about them,” said Jeff Titcomb.

If they win in one of the prize categories, they would use the funds to promote Tourism/Recreation in the beautiful Indian Valley. The Chamber office and website dedicates itself to promote business through tourism and recreation! If you are a bike rider, you should come back to Indian Valley on October 4th for the Chamber’s event: Leaf Peeper’s Ride!
